Mending Roots Body Therapies

Intuitive therapeutic massage will combine different soft tissue techniques into the session based on your bodies needs. This session will help restore soft tissue imbalance in your body and will be individualized to every clients needs. Your body and mind will feel relaxed while also feeling the positive changes that come from this treatment. This is a restorative deep tissue treatment with focus on specific areas of complaint. Full intake will be done on first session.

30 & 60 minute sessions will be focused on area(s) of complaint – not a full body.

Dolphin Neurostim may be incorporated into the session to help address areas of discomfort in the body.

Integrative Therapeutic Massage w/Tami

This is a restorative & corrective body work treatment that will focus on pain management, retraining the muscles through movement, and release of trigger points that form in muscles of the body and create pain patterns, loss of range of motion, & muscle fatigue/weakness. The treatment will integrate the use of a compression tool, hands on muscle manipulation, muscle activation techniques, myofascial release, Dolphin Neurostim for scar release, body movement stretches, and exercise program to help bring the body into better alignment.

Your intitial treatment will consist of an intake, assessment, and therapy.  The session will take about 2 hours and follow up sessions can be between 60-90 minutes. Treatment is done in clothing so make sure to wear comfortable clothing that your body can move in. Duration of how many sessions will depend on each clients needs. Packages are available.

Integrative Trigger Point Therapy w/ Tami

Let the stress and tension slip away while you let your body and mind unwind. Soothing and calming massage therapy techniques will be used to help engage your parasympathetic part of your nervous system. This is the part of your autonomic nervous system that is known as the rest and digest! You will leave feeling much lighter, in a better mood, and in a much calmer state. This will include a full body but may also be customized to your needs. Pressure will be individualized to the clients needs.

Relaxation Massage w/Tami

Vacuum style cups will be left on the body for a certain amount of time. This treatment is good for localized problems your body may be experiencing.  A cup is positioned at the area to be treated; a vacuum is created within the cup to draw the skin and underlying tissue into the cup. The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that increases blood and lymphatic circulation systemically and to the local area, relaxes muscle tissue, draws stagnation out of the body and releases a myriad of pain causing factors. 

This treatment can be a stand alone treatment or added on to another treatment.

Spot Treatment Static/Dynamic Cupping w/Tami

Postural Alignment Therapy focuses on your body as a whole and getting to the root cause of your pain & injury. It uses personalized gentle corrective exercises to address the muscular imbalance that leads to misalignment and pain/symptoms in your body.

Your body will relearn how to move in balance to live a more Pain-Free life!
